With Geode Health, we personalized an SEO strategy for a series of mental wellness clinics opening rapidly across Illinois and Texas.

At each location we researched the best service to rank for in each location (ex: behavioral health), and implemented landing page design, text blocks, short form copy, guest posts and more to rank for each location above competitive wellness clinics nearby.

Currently 10+ of these locations are ranking 1st place on Google for ‘mental health’, ‘behavioral health’, and ‘couples therapy’ in these local areas.

By the end of 2022 we’ll have created a complete content strategy for Dickson Solutions. Dickson is a B2B healthcare and Pharma tech company specializing in data loggers and environmental monitoring. Our strategy was to create a complete Pharmaceutical asset portfolio consisting of a site migration, landing pages, white-papers, case studies, webinar treatments, videos, and much more.

Key wins so far include 25+ keywords ranking on the first page of Google.

My monthly assignments include outlining and creating consistent blog and email newsletters in addition to the larger content assets we’ve been creating throughout 2022.

We’ve developed a full-scale SEO content strategy focused on product categories for wholesale clothing brand Bella + Canvas. They specialize in selling “blank” bulk clothing for clothing brands and designers all across the globe. With our strategy they’ll outsell competitors and rank above competitors on Google.

ClaimBuyout’s new website just launched, a revolutionary new service that makes selling your damaged vehicle after an accident easy. With PuzzleBreak, we developed a series of landing pages and blog content to outrank local escape room competitors in the Seattle area. Not only that, but we also developed a full-scale strategy that would also take their marketing efforts online. We used competitive SEO keywords to create lead generation for PuzzleBreak's virtual escape rooms and traveling escape rooms, available for their target audience of work retreats and conferences across the country.

Now announcing my official clothing brand: Gridlock Garments. I was inspired by the ura-Harajuku times of streetwear in the early 90s, which saw the creation of cult-favorite brands like Undercover, A Bathing Ape, and Bounty Hunter.

Gridlock Garments is a graphic-design focused brand, offering exclusive, but affordably priced clothing, in limited numbers. Each collection will be inspired by a different theme.

2020 was a year. But I sure was thankful to be a part of this project. Destify partnered with some of our brand partners to get free rooms in some of our most beautiful locations for first responders working directly in COVID-19 community efforts.

We gave out over 5 giveaways, with free nights in gorgeous locations like Cancun, Mexico and Punta Cana, of the Dominican Republic. I reached out to resort reps to secure the nights, created all of the graphics, and reviewed the submissions.

In order to submit, first responders had to share their experience working throughout the pandemic. Reading submissions to qualify entrants was gut wrenching, and truly humbling. If only we could have gave every contestant a trip!

I was lucky enough to get to write a short product description for Chicago artist Junkyard's first designer toy. He is originally from South Africa. In his collaboration with famed vinyl collectible toy-maker Mightyjaxx we find a lovable mascot whose joined the dark side. 

"In this collaborative collectible figure, we call "Michael", you will find the heart of a would-be cartoon mascot whose given into his psychosis. Now completely out of touch with reality, Michael offers demonic powers in an inarguably adorable package. Or at least we would advise not arguing with him!"

A recent project of mine was creating a new landing page for TravelZap’s revamped College Spring Break campaign. The page was designed to give viewers a one-stop spot to learn about college group spring break trips, why they should book with TravelZap, the activities you can partake in, and to share some of the resorts you could stay at. Special attention was paid to contact forms and phone numbers for functionality, along with clever copy to draw in readers.

Destify has completed the cornerstone phase of our FREE Destination Wedding Contest, where we’ve surprised our winning couple in New York City with the grand reveal.

After just a few short days of deliberation and coordination, we flew to New York City to meet India and Igor and to announce the huge news at the very restaurant where Igor originally proposed. Of course, we took a full camera crew and our video hosts, Charm and Marissa, to capture it all on film. 

While they set up I took our lucky couple on a photo shoot to the Museum of the City of New York to capture some future press photos and to film some candid footage under the guise of having an in-person interview with them before we chose our winners. We edited and released the online reveal video just days later.

I'm proud to present a recent project of mine, a landing page overhaul for the group leisure travel agency TravelZap. TravelZap is unlike other travel agencies, it works with groups of any budget, and operates more like a tech startup, using innovation to push the travel industry forward. 

The landing page was designed to maximize both the benefits of the company and visual appeal, with a unique carousel slider that appears like a window to beautiful destinations around the world.  The rest of the landing page utilizes clever sections, each with unique design flair and SVG icons and concise body copy to present the perks of using TravelZap for your next group outing. 

Desitfy’s FREE Destination Wedding Contest is currently running now through December 2018, featuring a huge list of tremendous prizes that one lucky couple will win. This really is the opportunity of a lifetime. The contest is designed to find a deserving pair who will win a full wedding ceremony, private reception, airfare, 7-nights at any Royalton Luxury Resorts, a full videography and photography package, DJ and dance floor, and even a private excursion for the entire wedding party!

I’ve steered much of the creative direction for this contest, from graphic work to copywriting. The full length of the marketing campaign includes display advertising, a social media calendar, curated blog posts, and also utilizes a network of social influencers. The contest also uses web pages and custom collaborative logos that I designed.

The crown jewel of the marketing contest is our video series, producing original content for the duration of the campaign. This includes an exciting announcement video, and “monthly check-in” Vlog episodes, all with our actors Marissa and Charm. Together with the content team, I’m helping to write the scripts and produce the videos, which are truly taking the contest content up a notch.

Running currently with Destify is our Best Destination Wedding Contest of 2017. I’ve been a part of this project since incubation, leading much of the design and creative copy. The entire feel of the contest utilizes high-res wedding photos framed like polaroid images, placed upon sandy beach backgrounds. Furthermore bright pastel font and translucent headers blend with voting buttons/and trophy icons that appear hand-drawn, along with “Vote Now” graphics modeled after passport stamps.

Voting is now live for our Top 10 Finalists, open to the public through our landing page. We received tons of submissions and weeded out the list to a selection of 10 couples, who are all vying for prizes for the categories “Best Story”, “Best Photos” and the grand prize and title of “Best Destination Wedding”. The contest has taken on the full width of an advertising campaign, including sponsored social media ads and press releases. Each individual couples’ page is meant to look like a magazine article while sharing their personal stories, which I wrote based on questions each couple answered in their submissions.

At the Matthew Rachman Gallery I did marketing work for the duration of two art exhibitions from press release infancy to their opening receptions.

My work included: writing/editing for press releases, artist's statements, social media calendars and posts, newsletters, exhibition descriptions, Lookbooks and staff picks. I worked out of a media contact list for press outreach and listed exhibition press releases on arts and social calendars. Example event listings included ArtWeek and Do312. I sent newsletters via Mailchimp to Gallery subscribers.

For my first project I researched and SEO tagged MRG's full online inventory. I also reorganized and updated their Pinterest to better match Gallery inventory, both old and new.

I completed an internship for Steve Harvey Handbags with the end goal of creating an E-Commerce site in time for an online sales promotion. I wrote the product copy for each bag, which is quite the task for someone who doesn’t personally own one. After researching the lingo, I was able to walk away with new e-commerce knowledge and a live website I’m very proud of.

Beyond the writing, I organized the photography and used a layout template to build up the entire site before the deadline, including refund policies and stock count. As you can see it went well and many of the bags sold out!

Pronounced “Never”, this is the end result of a magazine project for a Senior Art Direction course. I believe it was completed to near professional standards and think the end product reflects the 11 weeks of hard work that went into it. I served as Art Director, and was heavily involved in layout design where I wrote some of my own articles and interviews. I also created several ads to be used as buffers between editorial content.

Being from Kentucky I can vouch for bourbon being no laughing matter. Woodford Reserve is a tried and tested brand, thick with history, and dripping in iconography. So I’ve created a campaign that acknowledges Woodford’s creational process while being playful at heart.
